Have you ever asked yourself, “who am I?” Have you ever lacked an ounce of confidence? When I was younger, I would ask myself the same question. I was always curious as to why I was the way I am and who I was.
It was shortly after meeting Jesus at 17 years old, that I began to feel and sense who I was. I felt my shoulders beginning to feel a lighter and my chin a bit higher. In between the struggles of adulting, maintaining healthy relationships, and the plain hard stuff, I began to believe the lies and felt myself losing the confidence I once had.
This past year, I asked God to show me who I am and to show me who He was. I came to realize that Our Father is the I AM and whatever we need God is IT!
Ephesians 3:20 makes a case to remind us, that God, “is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” That’s it! The power is at work within us. I had to get to know the Father, in order to know who I was and what I’ve been called to do. It wasn’t until I began to search God’s heart on who He is, that I was able to find and regain the confidence that I already had. Today I’m reminded that “blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him” as stated in Jeremiah 17:7-8.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven…” Ecclesiastes 3:1

When we let God define who we are, we somehow roll back our shoulders and this stunning bold confidence is now our new garment. So, Be bold, fierce, unapologetic and unashamed for we are children of a loving Father and we are able to do all things because Christ is within us!
