As I read Christy Johnson’s The Deborah Mantle, I became fully charged after reading the impactful revelation regarding Deborah from the book of Judges. I became extremely excited for the upcoming release of The Esther Mantle. I love the empowerment behind Deborah’s story but I love Esther’s a little bit more. A story about justice and confidence when standing up for her people. This is my full review of The Esther Mantle by Christy Johnson.
I’ve been a follower of Christy and Nate Johnston for years and have resonated with many prophetic words they have released over the nation of America. They are from Australia, but have a heart for this nation to be saved.
Christy Johnston’s book The Esther Mantle is more than words can explain. As a woman, who loves to study the bible and dive deep into scripture, I truly appreciated this book. Christy dove right into the meaning behind Esther, her counterfeit Vashti, and her protector Mordecai. The way Christy unraveled Esther’s story in The Esther Mantle really changed everything I ever read and knew about Esther.
In The Esther Mantle, Christy shares a beautiful testimony regarding abortion. She also shares the evil principality that is at play in Esther’s world and in our modern day society. She exposes the spirit behind Haman, and how it tried to stop Mordecai and Esther. Also, Did you know the book of Esther does not mention God at all? However, it is actually an overview of Jesus and the Church. Esther being the church, Mordecai representing Jesus and Haman as the anit-christ! All of that was mind blowing to me , but you won’t find all that out until chapter 12. Christy revealed many gems that will equip you as a fellow Esther and take up the call God has given to you. It’s powerful and impactful, and if you allow Him to work through Christy in this book , you will do some deep heart diving as well.
My favorite faith-based romance as a young believer was One Night With The King. I loved how it portrayed Esther becoming such a noble queen and being bold before the King. After reading the scriptures and The Esther Mantle, my perception has changed tremendously on what this story is truly about. Esther is an orphan facing something close to sex trafficking, and has to stand courageously before a man who is the King, but who is also her husband. Esther was even more bold for calling out Haman and his evil plan to kill the Jews in front of the King and this book shares how that is parallel to today’s world, regarding sexuality, and feminism.
Will You Arise For Him?
As a woman who has single handedly seen a one sided justice system. A woman who has taken her prayer requests to the throne room of The Most High King. And a woman who has called out the principality working against her marriage, family and children, this book left me more than inspired and ready to answer the call. Will you arise for Him? Will you overthrow the enemy’s plans and reverse the curse like Esther did for her people?
