Who doesn’t love pizza? To be honest, there is nothing better than a New York cheesy pizza fresh out of the oven. We probably eat pizza once a month. I figured we could try our luck at an easy homemade pizza recipe. And guess what?! It stuck! We still order from our favorite pizza place but we have so much fun making this homemade pizza recipe. It’s so easy and so fun. If you have kids, get them involved and let them create their own.
Easy Homemade Pizza Recipe
When making a homemade pizza recipe, the star of the show is the pizza sauce. We usually splurge on our favorite marinara/ pizza sauce. For example, we use pizza sauces on the top of the shelf. At the moment, we are using Michael’s of Brooklyn fresh tomato & basil sauce for our homemade pizza recipe. The price at our local Publix is about $5.99 for a 32oz jar. After that, we purchase the pre-made dough found in our local publix’s bakery. If you aren’t able to get some from your local grocer, you can also head to your local favorite pizza place and ask them for a couple slabs of dough. Usually will run you about $2-$5. If none of those work, then of course the pre-made dough in the pizza is always good too. Whatever works best for you.
